MEETING AT SCHOOL

After the visit to Ciechocinek, a famous spa resort very rich in iodine excellent for respiratory cures, we went back to school for the meeting with local authorities.

The event was carefully planned: after the formal speech by the Principal, the head of Zakrzewo community gave each partner delegation a plaque as a memory of the Comenius meeting. Then we all watched the students' performance: they were all dressed with beautiful traditional clothes playing and singing Polish traditional music. They also performed some typical folk dances together with parents and grandparents. We were fascinated by the show, the whole community expressed such a pride for their cultural identity and we all were involved in the excitement of the dancing.

The whole school staff and students worked a lot for the meeting organization and we really enjoyed their warm welcome. The place is also pleasant: very clean, tidy and cared for. We all felt at home there and we could experience a little piece of united Europe during the meeting. Thank you to our Polish friends and all the partners meeting in Zakrzewo.
